Lawmakers in Korea are currently raising their voices to revise the political fund law which has allowed them to use the funds without oversight. After the death of a member of a legislative of the Justice Party, No Hoe-chan, the law revision has become highly controversial. As a student in Korea, I think revising the law is a positive change that will protect the rights of taxpayers to keep track of the flow of the money they have paid. In addition, it is expected that the change will bring a transparency in politics, which will lead to the narrowing of the disparity between the power of big and small parties.
