Students living in the CNU Residence Hall on Yongbong campus enjoyed a festival entitled “The Lord of the Bandi’ on October 12 in the vicinity of Dormitory 9. The festival was aimed at promoting friendship among the students living in the dormitory and getting along with foreign and Korean students through many interesting events including an Open House, a Beautiful Room Contest, an International Food Festival, a Flea Market, and Bandi Stage. Many students had a good time at the festival and some participants received a lot of prizes such as iPads and AirPods. Choi In-young (Sophomore, Dept. of English Language and Literature) said, “I think it is difficult for students who are living in the dormitory to know each other without these events. Therefore, I think it was a good chance for the students to meet and know their neighbors by participating in activities together.” This annual dormitory festival has taken place every fall semester since 1993.
