High school students gained valuable experience having factual information and consultations on college majors and admissions at Chonnam National University (CNU). The 2019 College Fair for high school students took place on Yongbong campus from May 31 to June 1. In the fair, 17 colleges and 94 majors offered useful information for the students to understand certain majors and extracurricular activities on campus. Affiliated facilities operated several programs including psychological tests and departments in every college provided academic consultations. CNU also gave special lectures about college admissions and exhibitions on the outcomes of creative activities of high school students. Kim Tae-hoon, Dean for Admissions, said that he hoped CNU, as one of flagship national universities, would help students design their own dream and career through the college fair program. Oh Han-gil (Second Year, Suncheon Bokseong High School) said, “I dream to become a police officer. I could get detailed information about my dream at this college fair and the consultation was quite helpful to design her future career.”
