Chonnam National University (CNU) held the 67th Second Graduation Ceremony on August 26 on Gwangju campus. A total of 1,653 graduates received their degrees: 1,240 Bachelor’s, 295 Master’s and 117 Doctoral degrees. More than 1,000 guests including President Jeong Byung-seok, faculty members, students, and graduates’ family members participated in the ceremony to celebrate their graduation. President Jeong gave congratulations and encouraging messages to graduates. “You may lose your way sometimes, but you can go anywhere because your way has no fixed way.” A graduate Mukhammad Kayumov from the School of Medicine said, “Graduating with a master’s degree is a unique experience in my life. As I will pursue a Ph. D. in medicine, it is a big step forward to my bright future. ” After finishing the ceremony, the graduates enjoyed their happy time by taking pictures in front of the photo wall installed on the lawn of Minjumaru and celebrating their graduation with their family and friends.
