▲ Newly entered international students listening to explanations about academic affairs and school life at the orientation session held on August 31

Newly incoming international students took part in the orientation session for them held on August 31 on Gwangju and Yeosu campuses respectively. About 120 new undergraduate and graduate international students attended the session and received explanations about academic affairs from staff members in charge of the coordination for programs and opportunities in which undergraduate and graduate students will engage. Instructions about visa, insurance and notices on sexual harassment were also given to the students. The video clip about sexual harassment and the precautions in school attracted the interest of the international students and brought about good responses. After the session was finished, Yu Fehyjiao (Freshman, Faculty of Business Administration) from China said, “All of the information was so useful. I want to join a club where I can improve my Korean language skills.” She also expressed her expectation for school life like making lots of friends.
