As a foreigner, making friends with Korean students is not easy. There are not many programs on campus that give us the opportunity to do so; while CNU hosts several events all year, those are often exclusive to either international or Korean students, rarely both. During my time in Korea, I have met most of my local friends at my part-time job, even though I see them less often than my Korean classmates. I wish the school would arrange more events for all students rather than exclusively for one group. For example, I think a language exchange program or various study groups could work really well to bring Korean and international students together.
