International students from more than 25 countries gathered for the International Summer Session (ISS) 2019 at Chonnam National University (CNU). During the orientation program held in the Cosmos Hall at 10 a.m. on June 24, they watched video about CNU, Korean history, and opportunities that the ISS is providing for 124 foreign students attending the summer session. Moon Ki-seok, Dean for International Affairs gave a welcoming speech to foreign students and wished them joyful memories, and happy days at CNU. Moreover, in the orientation 15 foreign professors took also part and got to know CNU better with students including Korean buddies. After the orientation ended, the students enjoyed lunch in a school cafeteria for scholars and had a recreation in Sports Center. The Chonnam Tribune wishes international students have one of the best moments in their lives, make friends and have good impression of Korea.
