Patty Jenkins: This was the make-it-or-break-it* moment. It’s a moment of confidence in decision of what you can do. It’s, it’s not about at the wall of people that you are going up against. She is just going to go across and be the one that makes a difference.
From This Changes Everything
* Make-it-or-break-it: Meaning ‘leading to or causing an outcome that will either be a total success or failure’, it is used as “Tomorrow will be the make-it-or-break-it day for our company’s future.”
This Changes Everything talks about sexual discrimination of female actors and directors in Hollywood and the media industry. It further introduces actual effort to get through the socially prevalent hardship imposed on them and suggests a realistic breakthrough. Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman released in 2017, starred as herself in the movie.
