Chonnam National University (CNU) offered an overseas job training program for Vietnamese students to guide their career choices from January 13 to 17. 11 Vietnamese students participated in the event and visited five Korean companies in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam including Samsung Electronics and Woori Bank. They looked around inside of the companies and the factories and had trial interviews with corporate managers. Thai Thi Ngoc Hong (Sophomore, Faculty of Economics) said, “It was a good opportunity to develop an employment preparation plan in the future. After graduating, I will apply for one of the companies we visited during the job training program. I hope I can get a job there.” By joining the program, the Vietnamese students had opportunities to expand their career options.
