The so-called digital library ‘Jeongbo-maru’ officially opened to the public. The opening ceremony of the library took place on May 11 on the third floor of the library building. Many people attended the ceremony to celebrate it, including CNU President Jung Sungtaek, Library Director, and the president of General Student Council. During the ceremony after a tape cutting event, various programs such as a photo exhibition and watching a congratulatory video were proceeded. AI robots, VR and AR experience were also conducted to show the identity of the digital library. Park Si-on (Sophomore, Dept. of English Language and Literature), who often uses the newly established library, expressed her feelings. "Unlike studying at a narrow and blocked desk in the existing library, it is good for me to see every student studying in an open space. I hope Jeongbo-maru will play a role for CNU students to take a rest and study freely.” In the library, there are rooms for video production and editing, and multimedia zones, showing a suitable aspect for the high-tech digital information era. Other rest areas such as gallery zones, attic, cloud rooms, and Namjeong Lounge are also opened to students.
